Margaret Court Community Outreach Inc.

(MCCO), formerly known as Victory Life Community Services, was founded and established in 1999 by Australian Tennis Champion Margaret Court. What started out as a humble attempt to feed the homeless on the Perth streets has now become one of the largest stand alone food distribution centres in Perth, Western Australia.

The mission of MCCO is to assist and support the ever-growing number of struggling families and individuals, that are suffering some form of hardship in Western Australia.

MCCO has been assisting the community over 15 years through our main centre, located in the industrial heart of Osborne Park only a five minute walk from Glendalough Train Station and ten minutes from the heart of Perth City with a smaller operation centre located in Kwinana which also assists the surrounding suburbs of Rockingham.

MCCO currently assists on average 550 families and individuals in need each week, distributing around 3,000 meals (22 tonnes) weekly. We receive a significant number of referrals from Centrelink, Red Cross, Outcare, Ruah and many other emergency relief organisations, as well as drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres around the metro area.

We have a dedicated team of staff and volunteers in our Osborne Park and Kwinana centres who assist with food packaging, preparing and making food hampers and distribution of clothing. Here at MCCO our passion is to go beyond the basic need of food and clothing by providing support to encourage and empower people in need, giving them hope for a future to improve their current circumstance.

The local community has come alongside MCCO with some of our contributors include British Sausage, Lion Dairy & Juice, Dobra Garden Trust and IGA. MCCO was awarded the City of Stirling Premiers Australia Day Award for Citizenship 2012.
